Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi every body. Iv been reading some of the posts on the forum and i must say that all the people are brill. Now hears my problem.

Me and the oh are thinking of going br. This is our stiuaction. Before we got togeather we both run up a lot of debt. (45k). We started with cccs and payed monthy but then i lost my jobs so i couldnt meat the payments every month, so i did the self help one that was doing ok, but now iv no job again so i cant even do that.

We rung cccs yesterday and they said go for it but there is a few questions i need to ask so any help would be grate.

1. Coz my credit ratine was so poor and we needed a new car my oh dad got one for us and we pay him back. So do i need to put this on the forms when i fill them out or not. We pay £200 a month for the car.

2.Will they come and take things out of nys house?

3.My oh mum has a shop but when the lease was sigined my oh had to sigine it to for some reason so will the effect us.

There is probley lots of other things that i need to ask but my heads in bits at the moment. Im off to the cort t get the paperwork for br this afternoon.

Thanks Andy o.

We pay £200 a month for the car. your dad is the owner and as long as you can prove he bought the car via a receipt then the OR cannot take the car however the payments cannot continue if you declare it to the OR as a debt. It would be seen as preferential treatment of a creditor given that the car was not purchased on an official HP agreement in your name.

2.Will they come and take things out of nys house? The OR will not come to your house however you do have to declare any assets of significant value - things like an xbox or pc are not of any great interest unless worth a lot.

Hi Andy and welcome to the forum, have answered some questions but not too sure about the lease one, would need more information about it I think then someone with more knowledge could help with that one.
