Not sure how much the newspapers are, as I don't buy them. But Asda are doing 4 energy saving lightbulbs for £1, 9W and/or 11W. Strangely, if you buy them individually they are £1 each.

Tescos have them 5 for 40p.

But they're the longer ones, the spiral-fit-in-a-table-lamp type are more, something like 2 for £1 or something like that, maybe even £1 each, so this still might work out slightly cheaper, depending on the price of the newspaper. Of course, if you want to read the newspaper anyway...

I got mine today as needed something to read on the train so got the Mirror.

They seem to be the ones that fit the light in the bedroom so will be useful!
