If the mechanism is OK on your existing verticals, you can get new strips, which I was told you can get for £1 each.

The Blind Spot Castlereagh St will do either complete new blinds or "refills"

  • Another vote for Cascade Blinds.

One important thing to be aware of though with regard to vertical blinds - if you have a condensation/damp problem in the room you're hanging them, it may manifest itself as mildew on the strips which can be problematic to remove.

We had that problem with our old verticals.

We've replaced them with pvc ones, which look just as good and are easy to wipe down. An additional bonus is the blackout effect.

We bought from Select Blinds and were happy with the product, the service and the price :-)

Blind spot in Castlereath gets my vote too - we've had new blinds fitted by them and have bought replacement strips from them - v reasonable price.
  • I used Cascade and I think we had Stephen too. Highly recommend.
