Does the OR touch children's account if in my name?

Hi all

Another question for when I finally sort out the BR

If my kids have bank accounts but I am the named person on there accounts due to them being to young, but they are named on the account.

Does/Can the OR touch this money, even though it is not mine, but I am named on the account?

seems they can and have but you can appeal

It didn't even enter my head to put my childrens accounts on my forms. All have accounts with HSBC, my biggest creditor, none were touched.

I asked this question as my 4 children all had their own accounts but had my name on too, I was advised to move their money out of bank we owed money too as although it would be underhand to touch the kids money it's not unheard of, so knowing what banks are like in this current economic climate it might pay you to be one step ahead.
