I really dont know what to do about British Gas, I owe them about 600 for gas & electric (next bill not due for 3 months though)
I have to pay DD for 240 on the 10th of Feb, but I go BR on the 13th, will the debt automatically be included in BR or only if I put it on creditors list, Im worried they will come out and cut me off, if there debt is included.
Is it worth me paying the 240?????? Or should I draw it from the bank and save it for emergencies?
Also Im worried my car insurer will cancel my policy? without a car I will loose my job.
Also Also, the only plessure I have in life apart from my kids is the internet, I get it free with my landline, if talk talk disconnected me I would be lost, I have no family or friens near by to talk to instead
Also Also also, will sky cancel ny viewing

"usually" folk cancel the ddm (in fact all ddm's) asap, gas/leccy may go onto a card meter and often get put in a.n.others name

save it in cash (if the present isnt an emergency what is?)

you will open a post-br account and setup a new ddm

should be ok, dont list internet as an expense unless your kids need it for homework (they do dont they?)

not if you pay them, but watch sky for extra charges, they are way too dear, and again, the OR doesnt allow sky in your SOA I&E

AH AH Thanks, I haven't got anybody to open account for me, so it looks like the meters, am I right in thinking they can't cut me off, because I have got 3 young children?0 -
Hi Keepmyhouse
They won't cut you off, worse case scenario you will have to have a prepayment meter. I am including utilities in my BR and am planning on changing providers beforehand so I can include the arrears and fingers crossed still pay by direct debit.
I would suggest cancelling the dd if you have arrears anyway. Save the money - plus you can use it for a desposit with another provider if required :-)
British Gas from what i've read on here would have made you go on prepayment whether you had arrears or not so save the money towards your BR fees xxI cant change the past, but the future is mine to play with!

ps the other things will be ok too if you are up to date. Only thing i'm not sure about is your car insurance. Co-op insure bankrupts so might be worth trying them if you have any problems?I cant change the past, but the future is mine to play with!
