Is it the kind of clicker you can use in dog-training? As in "Me or My Dog" prog with the lady who dresses in black leather and teaches dogs and their owners how to behave? She uses some kind of clicker to modify the dog's behaviour.

Its the sort of thing a bouncer would use counting people into pub/club. Not the sort for dog training - unfortunately - could have come in handy!
