Can anyone make a suggestion (genuine only please) of where i can place an online ad for selling a car. I want to sell my old '98 corsa 1.4 and I have already placed an ad in gumtree and vivastreet. I am going to phone the yellow paper (free ads) to place an ad there too. I am only looking for £100 as Mum gave us her newer car..so this one is spare (makes it sound posh!!) ha ha
If anyone has any suggection for northen ireland sites that would be great. I am in the Ballymena area if that makes any difference.
Many thanks in advance.......

Try some of your local Car Dismantlers in the yellow pages.
They may give you an offer for scrap. About 6 months ago any scrap car was worth £100 plus but I think the scrap metal price has now declined somewhat.0 -
someone on gumtree is offering £100 for scrap cars (not that it is but moneys money!) and they come and collect it for you!it takes more energy
to hate than to love...

Did you see how much it was to stick it in the Guardian or Times??
Might be worth a try0 -
The car is only worth £100
so poster needs free advertising, not the Times or Guardian? which are a waste of money to sell a 'scrapper'0 -

Just a suggestion on my part0 -
I sold my 1996 clio on http://www.usedcarsni.com/ with over £100k miles on it and 9 months MOT for £250 within half an hour of placing the ad (about 8 months ago) and received about 15 calls in 4 days, I so undervalued it! You'd be surprised how much you'd get for yours.
If I remember correctly, the ad cost £5.
There are currently corsas from 1998 on the site for around £600.0
