  • Me too - Im with Sheilas Wheels and pay monthly - never missed a payment.

  • I would have thought it would carry on as normal, but don't take my word for it. You may have more of a problem if you want to shop around for a better deal, but again, someone may come along with better advice. I'm pretty new to this myself:D

  • If you're paying monthly, surely that'll be classed as a credit agreement, and therefore subject to the £500 limit? At £56pcm you're going to be over that limit...!

It'll be best to inform them of your BR to be on the safe side, and find out what your options are.

No need to inform them or anyone about your BR just carry on paying your DD's as normal. Sky, internet, utilities, phone, the lot just carry on paying them as you would normally.

  • Sorry for (my) confusion (I misread it as regarding renewing car insurance),

what I am after clarification on is when you renew your car insurance, (even with the same insurance company) and you opt to pay by installments, that's technically "taking out a credit agreement", and therefore would be subject to the mentioned restrictions?
