Insurance Rant

in Bankruptcy & living with it
Just been on confused.com to get a quote for household insurance. Most of the companies refused to give one due to bankruptcy, (the question was "have you ever been bankrupt", therefore will probably always be stigmatised). What do they think I am going to do? Put false claims through????!!!! Was not even asked to pay upfront, just not given a chance!!

Anyway, rant over. Feel better for getting that off my chest:grin:.

    My Car Insurance is with Tesco, will they be notified of my BR, and if so will they cancel my policy?

    More than was one of the ones who refused me, not for the bankruptcy, but because a claim was made within 3 yrs ( 15 years I've been paying for home insurance, and I've made one claim for £250 back in Dec 07.). Even then the insurance company increased the following years premium by more than £250.:mad:
