Has anybody ever had any success with the CSA actually tracking down a NRP when they go astray?
Other than constantly calling the CSA is there any way you could suggest to push them a bit harder to locate or do you think it is a waste of time?
Called them last week and was told IR records had not yet been updated, called this week and they said they had never even had a response from IR!
I managed to find him through google last time but no such luck this time...

I'm sorry to disillusion you but there's a thriving black market in NI numbers. The government have issued over 1 million more numbers than there are people. Don't forget that they issue one to each of the foreign nationals who come over for a few months to work, then go home again.
