mum says would get more for her pension if was divorced...

but still not divorced as still in french courts after 5 years. english husband playing on residency. In france he says he is french resident so can claim half of her property under french law but then in uk he says he is also english resident.

In france he is saying he is homeless with no money (but his assets are in uk); all this does not sound right. mum's houses were sold back in 2000 but all the money was put by crooked notaire (solicitor) in an account so not had any money. she is practically on the poverty line now. he lives comfortably in uk with good pension and had lots of money in accounts. any tips appreciated.
