I should imagine its pretty small, it looks it.

Small ones are beautiful in bedrooms;)

Makes bedrooms look plush & luxurious.

A coloured fur/satin/cotton throw folded in half & draped over the bottom half of the bed (plain white bedding) & loads of cushions & a chandelier & an over-sized headboard;)

    It's huge!

I went to Homebase tonight and picked one up. It's shabby chic effect, with white patchy looking paint, it is actually quite nice though. Too big for a normal size bedroom, I'm going to put mine on the landing. It has a chain, which I think could easily be removed, otherwise it'll hang very low. Nice bargain though.

bought one this morning in Poole B & Q, sign said £10 but went through till at £25. They agreed to sell it for 10 though after I showed them the sign. Its length is 1m so I shall hang it on the landing, fortunately my oh is an electrician as we have to move the pendant a bit.

About 15 inches in diameter, BUT 1m in height/length, so in a modern house you would keep walking into it or butting it. :rolleyes2

  • I went on the site last night and the price said £10 (can't remember what it was reduced from) but today the price says £25! Does anyone know why?

Yep. I went to B & q - I ALWAYS call mine Homebase - im a bit dozy :) Yeah mine was £10, and marked with a red sticker. B & Q have quite a few items in the sale, but hard to spot, just have to skim the shelves looking for red stickers. I managed to gee my wall paper that I wanted for £6.20 instead of the £19.95 I was intending on paying.
