How long do HMRC take?

I submitted my SA online yesterday afternoon and got an email back almost straight away saying that they received it and it is now being processed.

How long do they take to process, as I've still not heard from them?

    At least they received your return. Mine is still not accepted or submitted successfully.

    When I submitted my SA the spinning upload icon never went off. After half an hour it was still spinning, so I checked my emails and found they'd sent their email to me half an hour earlier.
    I'm not 100% convinced that it got to them intact.

    In your case it doesn't matter because you have proof in the form of an email that it has been accepted. Print it off and keep it for your records.

    It takes about 24 to 48 hours for the online return to cut over to the HMRC SA system.
