Apparantly we're all going to die as well."An arrogant and self-righteous Guardian reading tvv@t".
!!!!!! is all that about?0 -
An off the Record quip needless to say, but many a true word spoken in jest ... And a succinct summary of the Situation facing U.k PLC, Remarkable times tho, not likely to be repeated in any of our lifetimes, 2009 is going to be even more eventful than 08 I suspect .0

A cabinet minister off-message. That is significant.YouGov: £50 and £50 and £5 Amazon voucher received;
PPI successfully reclaimed: £7,575.32 (Lloyds TSB plc); £3,803.52 (Egg card); £3,109.88 (Egg loans)0 -
Not really, refer to Ken Clarke and the tory 'sillyness'."An arrogant and self-righteous Guardian reading tvv@t".

Maybe we could start a charity event:
Throw pies (or an anvil) at Gordon £1 a go;Sponsor Alistair to have his eye-brows waxed.
Just think of the number of people that would like to throw something at Gordy, that really would be spending our way out of recession0 -
Nice to have a cabinet telling the truth for once - his days are numbered!0

And no wonder.... the last few lines from the article:-Last week Cameron met William Buiter, the economist who is a keen advocate of better regulation.
Buiter, according to Cameron, told him "the last time we built up this much debt was when we were fighting ... half of Europe. This time we've done it on our own. It's quite a chilling thought. This is my worry is that it's like the man in the casino has lost it all on red and you know ... what's to stop Gordon putting it all on red all over again?"
Brown, however, will do so today, and who knows if he will win.0 -
Come on now that title is a bit OTT. I am sure we will all be fine in the grand scheme of things.In Progress!!!0

Unsourced reports and rumours predicting the UK will have its triple A-rated status revoked have spread like wildfire. But, bad as the outlook appears, much of the doom-laden rhetoric bears little resemblance to the facts. An equally one-sided impression would be given if alternative criteria were chosen. Economists expect household disposable income to grow this year at 1.4 per cent, twice last year’s level and almost 50 times faster than in 2007.
I suppose it depends who you read, and what agenda they have
'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0
