Has anyone used this site?

I am asking because 2 weeks ago my partner ordered his ring from them but was not given an estimated dispatch date. He emailed them last week and they said he should have it by this friday. When we log into their website it still does not show as having been dispatched.

I have tried to call them today to ask what is going on and I am getting no answer on there customer service number and when I have tried calling there freephone number I have been told that this service is no longer active.

We paid for the ring with credit card so I am not too worried about getting our money back, but was wondering had anyone ordered anything from them in the past? Are they always this bad at communicating or do you know if the company is in trouble?

Hmmm I've only ordered a sample from them - keep forgetting to buy the actual ring for him - oops! But they seemed rather efficient - this was only a few months ago. I got an email from them yesterday, showing me the invoice for the sample which I'm assuming is a gentle reminder to buy the real thing.

I got the feeling that it's a family run firm (don't know if I dreamt that but I'm sure I read it on the website somewhere) so it's a small operation, I think. I do know someone else who used them with no problems so I'm sure it'll be ok and you'll just have to communicate via email.

I have ordered our rings from here, i just tried their freephone number and got thorugh to the customer service department; they gave me an update on my order and said it will be with me Middle of Next Week.

EDIT: When orderig i was told they were launching a site in Germany so i dont think they are closing.

I hope this helps settle some nerves.

i only had smaple rings from them which i ordered on a mon and recieved by the tuesday.

i also rang the free phone number and they answered.

We bought my engagement ring from them and they were very good at keeping us updated. There was a delay on the palladium but they kept us informed as to what was happening. We are thinking of buying our wedding rings from there also so I wouldnt worry, they are just probably very busy.

We had my engagement ring made to order from Wedding Rings Direct a few months ago and I know what you mean about there not being definate dispatch dates but I don't think it's anything to worry about. Our estimate date came and went but they were good about updating us via email about the reasons behind it when we queried it. They're a good company to deal with and we'll be getting our wedding rings from them.

I know these guys do a loyalty code for returning customers... I had one that our firends gave us but we can't find it - does anyone out there who's used this company have a voucher code that's worth trying?
