Mobile phone contract

Husband is going br on 13th feb, he has a mobile phone contract, will he have to cancel this or can he keep it.

    If he wants to keep the mobile then he doesn't put it down as a creditor and just put's it down on the SoA as an outgoing. If he wants to go PAYG then he should default on a payment and put it down as a creditor.

    So does he have to tell the phone company he is br. Are they not a form of credit.

    Many members have kept mobile contracts while bankrupt without problems....the only provider that mentions bankruptcy in contracts is 3 UK and then many members have still been allowed to keep contracts with them! mad I know but you should be fine

    O2 and T-Mobile also mention bankruptcy in their terms but I've not heard of anyone having their account closed if they were up to date and not listed as a creditor.

  • Booooooo the judge told me i could not keep my contract (well the judge told me that the OR asked i go on to PAYG ) however i had not listed them as a creditor as i asumed i would be able to keep my contract i must call the OR to let them know
