good but cheap binoculars

My little girl has taken up bird watching and wants her own binoculars

so

I want to buy her some

advice please

must be fairly decent, but also cheap

she is only 8 so they will probably be dropped now and then

I bought some brand new Praktica Sport compact binoculars from Ebay a few years back They have been to quite a few rock concerts with me, as well spied on a lot of birds in the garden & have been dropped a few times. They are still going strong, so obviously capable of surviving some knocks.

How nice that your young daughter wants to watch the birds. They give a lot of pleasure, especially when they are feeding their young. They are really facinating little creatures & it's lovely to be able to watch them up close through binoculars.
