Potentially stupid question?

I went bankrupt in Sept last year after some help from you all and now I've got a question.
I'm going off travelling in Feb for 3 months or so - having eaten beans on toast for months on end to save up! - but my mother is fretting about me roaming the world with just my cash card account and would like to apply for an additional credit card on one of her accounts. I know this means that she's completely liable etc but I am worried it's against the terms of my bankruptcy. I know I'm not technically applying for credit but that could just be pure sophistry and I'm not sure.
She was going to include a letter saying that she knows I am bankrupt and that she remains completely liable for the entire debt.
Does anyone know whether it will be okay to apply or not?
thanks

You can obtain credit of up to £500 without telling the person you are bankrupt.
But as you would be an additional card holder on your mother's account, she is fully liable, you would not be, so should be ok.0 -
Cool. I was a bit worried.0
