Looking for Non-Bank Loans

Hi,

I need to take a loan for about £2000, but I do not want to approach HSBC, Barclays or any of the big banks.
Can anyone recommend any independent finance companies that offer loans?
Whats the best comparison site for finding the right loan?

P.S. I have a fairly good credit rating.

Then you should be going to the big banks, not independants with high apr's

Zopa they are not a bank, peer to peer lending.
