Hi all,
I went BR in September 2008. At the time I was unemployed as my business had just failed. I am now in work and having informed my OR, I've just received an IPOQ. Can someone please check my figures over and let me know what you think? Based on 2 adults and one child (aged 3)
INCOME
My earnings - £1300
Wife's contribution - £300
Child tax credits - £130
TOTAL - £1730
Mortgage - £281
Secured Loan - £264
Gas - £31
Electricity - £43
Water - £43 (on meter)
Petrol - £150 (mainly work travel)
Clothes - £90
Life insurance - £20
Buildings and contents - £25
Car insurance - £19
Car tax - £15
Car repairs including MOT - £20
Mobile phone - £25
Medical (prescriptions/opticians etc - wife has glasses which are expensive!!) - £30
TV licence - £12
Hair cuts - £25
Holiday - £35
Household/groceries - £375
Vets - £20
Nursery- £140
Council Tax - £99
TOTAL - £1762
Deficit of £32 per month
Any guidance much appreciated. My wife does earn slightly more than her contribution. We keep this for the things that I can not get credit for anymore such as repairs etc. Do I need to list full earnings or just what she contributes to household bills?
Many thanks as always

No you only have to list her contribution to the joint household bills.
Figures seem fair to me. If he asks about the deficit then just say you are working to get it sorted.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -

Ok i am not a great believer of showing a deficit(sorry TF) so have altered some of your figures so that you are now £12 in credit. It is of course entirely up to you which way you want to go.DxFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau
