The breakdown cover is provided by Mondial Assistance.

Although I've put this link in, you can't buy breakdown assistance direct through Mondial and I don't know where you can find the policy details online before purchasing.

I can't imagine breakdown cover of any magnitude would cost less than say £30 for the year so this looks like a great deal to me?

I used to have Mondial when I had my Kia warranty, only I never had to call them out. I've tried googling this company but I've not been able to find anything yet. Could they sub-contract it to someone else? I had Tesco Insurance when I had my van and they sent Lanterns in the oldest and dodgiest breakdown truck I have ever seen..... The speedo did not work properly and it took a good while to get going, then he could not get it off the back of the truck. Ooer!!

OK, I have found the T&C of the policy here: http://www.tomtompromotion.com/assistance/policy.aspx It does say that you have to have your car serviced properly and have to prove this if asked so I am not going to take the risk to be honest as mine was not done last year.

I know, but I only need the breakdown cover, I am sure I could find someone who want to buy Tom Tom!! Hubby already got a new sat nav for Xmas.
