OH is quite good at making own bread (not machine but just chucking ingredients about) but has not done for so long even though we said(years?!) ago, we will make bread every week.
We are quite good with soups but my sister who is lucky to have big garden has the chickens (my dream!!! - does give us eggs but extra small & no-one can work out why???). Anyway keep up the good work & the great life style IF - sounds wonderful!!!! - and am sure life style and knowledge does stun and amaze all!!!!
Like just thrifty (Hi jt & thanks for all really useful, friendly posts!) do have herbs in pots & nothing beats boiling potatoes or peas & being able to pick your own mint etc. - have what I can but am restricted in size etc.
Am also really intrested in historic/medicinal aspect of post - so thanks for post lorweld!!!0
