This is probably a bit of a stupid question but in case anyone knows. If you had a fixed rate mortgage agreed two years ago and its coming to an end and the SVR at the time of the contract was 2% for that bank (Halifax) is that SVR rate locked in or can they change it to whatever they see fit when the fixed rate ends...
