spot on kentc81 i've got a broken key.

Sorry to hear about that. FWIW, if you really do need to type the symbol some day, use the ALT key and type 156 on the numeric keypad.

I must go know otherwise I'll start prattling on all nostalgic about extended ASCII in the good old FIDO days

Thanks OP, great find. Just been and collected on for my mum. They still had quite a few left. I asked why they were on offer and was advised it was because the boxes were slightly damaged and they were unable to sell them at the usual price because of this. You have a years guarantee so if you don't mind a box with a dint in - its a very good offer! The box we got looked fine. They also had Nintendo DS Lites on offer as well for the same reason.
  • that's just so crazy. If I knew someone well Id send you £140 to pick one up and then another tenner to post it to me: bargain!

I don't think you can reserve them but I phoned up and they said they had loads. We just unpacked ours and everything is fine with it. My son thinks his grandma is so cool now she has a wii. Was very funny watching her boxing ha ha.

They are behind the counter as Managers Specials. They had loads of them. As mentioned above its because boxes are slightly damaged. You can still go in and buy one at full price (obviously without a damaged box) which will be ones showing on line. HTH.
