I am looking into it myself, but wondered if anyone knew the best price I could find for at least a 17" PC monitor, although I would like a 20" or a 22"? To buy online or in store.
apart from dabs does anyone know of any other online shops. I am a student too so any student discounts or internet sities would be worth looking at.
thanks

Try Aria they had 22" for £105 last week.
Just checked they are now £101 + delivery or you can pick up in Manchester or £95.39 + delivery but web only so no pickup so you will have to pay delivery. The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible.

I've used all these companies when building PCs except CCL, however they have a very good reputation also. I've also used Overclockers but they can be a bit hit and miss. Don't discount Comet or Dixons/PC World/Currys as they will occasionally have bargains on. On the cheap end of things I can thoroughly recommend Hanns G monitors, I've had one for a while now and it's fantastic.0 -
I'd also recommend ebuyer.
How about any of these 19" options:
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/135026 - only £74.95, with a few good reviews on the site (but no DVI if you need it)
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/119321 - £89.95. Still no DVI, but a host of good reviews. I also have a Cibox monitor, 22", and it's brillaitn, excellent value for money.
If you need DVI, this is the cheapest widescreen one: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/116840 - £96.77, also great reviews.
If you can pay a bit more, and go for 22", i've got this:
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/129910 - £119.54, and i'd definitely recommend it. I've had it for well over a year, no problems at all.
And you can actually get the version with speakers for £10 less! though again, no DVI input - http://www.ebuyer.com/product/128036
(If you're wondering what DVI means, it's an input type/cable/socket thing, which gives you slightly better picture quality from your computer, if you have a graphics card with a DVI socket)
They're all free delivery too if you don't need it next day or anything.0 -

I bought my new monitor from http://www.cdiscount.co.uk/Computing/DesktopsMonitors/Monitors/l-616.html. I bought the Philips one at £89.99 and you can pay over 3 months depending on the price of what you are purchasing.Dream as if you'll live forever - live as if you'll die today0

Hi
I got one of these not long ago from Costco but there are other places that sell them great for gaming http://www.viewsonic.com/products/vx2260wm.htm0 -
I bought this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000GYHS6Y
less than £800 -
I've decided to go with
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B001IMRJ62/kelkoocpc-cs-hardware-monitors-21/ref=asc_df_B001IMRJ62299851
but for £84 from our local store. I decided that it was worth paying an extra £4 as it has 3 years warrenty too.
thanks alot :beer:0
