Hi there,
Martin's weekly tips email today says: 'Sub-3% Deal: HSBC's new much trumpeted 2.99% deal sounds good, but is only for high earners borrowing under 60% of their home's value, few others are under 3.5%.' I've been rooting around on HSBC's site, but can't seem to find this product. Can anyone help?
Thanks,:D

Might have changed - the 'special' premier 2 year discount on the website is showing as 3.49%0

Yeah I can't seem to see anything that low anymore and a 2.99 rate I was looking at has gone. I've spotted a 3.19%, 2 year fixed rate on a google search but don't know who the lender is. It's got a 2% fee on it and reverts to standard variable rate which is 5.34% at the mo.0

I can't find details of the 2.99% rate either.
I think as well as earning £75k plus, and borrowing 60% or less, the loan size had to be £250k or moreI am a Mortgage adviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
