Anyone used Vista Print for wedding stationary?

Hi everyone,

Was wondering if anyone had used the free offers, where you only pay for postage?

I was hoping to get my 'Thank You' cards from them but just wanted some stories from people who have used them.

How good / bad were they. Any advice??

Thank you

    Hi

I always use Vistaprint for my business stationery and most recently ordered some large postcards (in fact they were larger than their usual ones) that I had printed in colour on the front and the back was shades of grey (colour would have cost me more) and I only paid for postage.

One thing to be wary of with Vistaprint, they will try and sign you up to their Premier Club which costs you money so make sure you tell them that you don't want to do that.

Their products are good quality and I have no complaints - I recently ordered 10 magnetic calendars printed with my business details, 250 business cards (they then offered me 250 more at less than half price so I took up their offer) and some postcards, then later on I ordered yet more free postcards. Most of the wedding planners that I know use Vistaprint because it saves us money.

    We did.

They weren't too bad, but they sent free address labels that were all messed up (one line of print running over another) and we had to keep removing their advert from the back page of everything.

  • We did too - we got 250 postcards with the invite wording on which I then used as inserts for the invites and used the rest to colour co-ordinate everything else.

Think they were under £4.00 and took about 10 days to come.
I was very happy with them as we dont have a colour printer and they were a little different from the usual ones.
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p
  • i use vistaprint for all my business stationary, all the basic products have the vista print logo on, you will have to pay a little extra to get this taken off.
i have had no problems with them, my only advice would be to double and even triple check your wording on everything as they dont check for mistakes and my 1st lot of business cards came with a misspelt word.

Im a printer and i have had many customers coming in with vista print products. Now you only need to take it out and i know its vista print. Its such poor quality cheap thin card i just dont know how they can put this out . I would be embrassed to hand someone this kinda of print. For a couple of pound more you can get proper professional business cards ect.

  • vistaprint only take the money out of your account if you sign up to the premier club or do not uncheck the tick box in some cases.

Thanks guys - to be honest I think I'll give Vista a miss! I will check some options I've been offered but failing that I will go to my local printers who did my SIL's wedding invitations. At least then you get to see a sample! Thanks to all who responded! Much appreciated!
