Initial Document Disclosure - Key Facts

Hello

This is my first post so I hope it is in the right place.

I wonder if anyone can answer my question regarding Initial Disclosure Documents that contain the key facts re mortgages.

Does a lender/company have to send out a copy of these facts when you make an initial application for a mortgage or only when your application has been accepted?

    Should be at initial application, otherwise you don't know the terms and conditions of what you are applying for

    Can I assume then an mortgage application can still be declined at this stage? And they have to send out these forms by law?

    Yup, it can still be declined.
