Ipoq??

Hi all,

We're now 4 months into our BR and have both this morning received an IPOQ form. I understand this usually means you're being considered for ED (is that right?) but as we were half expecting a BRU we're quite surprised to have got these. Does it always mean possible ED? There is no mention of ED on the form or covering letter.

Hope someone can shed some light!

Thanks in advance.

If it says EDREV anywhere on the form, it's for ed, if not it's just a review of your circumstances.

Oh no, it doesn't. What does that mean then? We've already agreed to pay an IPA which hasn't started yet. Very odd!

The EDREV is usually in the top right hand corner of the IPOQ.dX

Have you started paying your IPA yet?

Perhaps they think it will need altering due to drop in interest rates?

no, we haven't started paying yet-not heard about it since we sent the forms back, which seems a bit odd. Scared now-I got all excited when it arrived, but looks like I was wrong to...:(

So does anyone know why they might send the IPOQ even though we've already agreed to an IPA? It's all very confusing! the letter's from the OR's office, but not from the examiner we dealt with at interview etc.

    Any thoughts or similar experiences?

Also, if anyone else has received an IPOQ, what did the letter say? Ours just says something about 'Those who should be able to contribute towards their bankruptcy should do. Your response will enable me to make an updated assessment of your ability to pay. Should a payment be deemed appropriate, I will contact you again with further details'. Very odd! Has anyone else had this letter?

    Thanks!

Since you are 4 months in and your OR hasn't yet got the IPA up and running, I suspect that they just feel the need to make sure the figures they have are current before they now go ahead.

Thanks Fermi. Gutted it's not ED though!

What are the chances of them disallowing things that have previously been allowed? Can/do they do that?

Like I said earlier, they're probably expect your mortgage to have gone down by a fair bit since October.

By the same token food has increased.
