            Men are s-i-m-p-l-e, simple.
For me it would be my wife all dressed up and then convincing me we were going out when all she wanted to do was get me undressed sp she could show off her new hosiery in suitable effective fashion.
Like I said better than any vee-hickle, book, trip anything.

What I would like for Valentine’s day is my wife back.
She’s been suffering from depression for the last 18 months or more. This has turned the woman that I love into a miserable grump who is so busy hating herself that she can barely accept love from me and our daughters(9 and 7). A woman who sees the worst in everything and who anticipates disaster or difficulty at every turn. A woman who no longer smiles or laughs. A woman who’s not fun to be with.
In her better moments she knows all this and we both know that this will all pass…one day. Maybe then some of the other suggestions in this thread might start to be relevant.
Don’t think that there are any discount codes or savers to help with this one.0 -
Well if it helps. I was in the same state as your wife a year ago and mine did pass.
I took myself off the tablets and am back to my sunny happy self again.
It will pass and I am sure your wife knows what you are going through.
Best wishes to you allIts better to be late in this life than early in the next one.

AWWW pabenny - that has really choked me - that was me 3 years ago. I really hope that you get your wife back. The only thing that 'sorted' me was ADs - not everyones solution I know - but they worked for me. Was on for 18 months - and we are now happier than we have ever been.pabenny wrote:What I would like for Valentine’s day is my wife back.

Don't really want to go into too much detail on here, however, you will find an awful lot of people on here have much experience of your situation, either as a sufferer or as a partner to someone suffering.
If you want anymore advice or support, please feel free to pm me, or start a thread in Discussions in the Arms.
Best of luck pabenny - that was a really brave post!

I've been there too mate, depression aint easy and it aint easy on your loved ones either. Stick in there cos it WILL pass and your family will return to where it was before and you'll all appreciate each more for it! Strength through adversity!0
