Myself and some friends went on a trip to Bradford (240 mile round trip!) to the National Photography, Film and Television museum. So that was £8 for my share of petrol, £5.50 for lunch and a drink at Wetherspoons and 90p for a bottle of water.
£14.40 not bad for the day out, we don't do it often. Quite proud because I could easily have spent money on all the lovely things in the museum shop (would have such a collection of photography books and magazines if I had the money!) but restrained myself. :A

Its a great place, just wish we were a bit nearer (we live in Sunderland!). We went to see the Julian Germaine work because he gave an interesting talk about it at our university but we came away even more impressed with Rughubir Singh's work which we'd not seen before. I also quite like the permanent exhibtion about the history of photography, Kodak etc, but have seen that a few times before. Do you live near to Bradford nearlyrich?

I live about 30 odd miles away but I visit Bradford for work pretty often and sometimes take a lunch hour in the museum, it's about 2 mins walk from one of my customers. Sunderland is a bit of a trek, I get up there occasionally too, glad it was worth the trip.
Are you studying photography at uni?0 -
