99p Energy Saving Light Bulbs

My wife made an amazing descovery last week. Our local 99p shop is now selling 99p Energy Saving Light Bulbs!! They illuminate white and are of the two pronged variety. Perfect for bathrooms if you're not happy for white light in your lounge or bedroom.

Cheers Barry, I think we've got one in town so will take a look - I need to replace a bulb as it is. All bar two of my lights are energy saving ones so the white light doesn't bother me!0

I never pay for these low-energy bulbs because so many organisations give them away for free!
I have got free ones from Yorkshire Electricity - I just gave them my old customer number! I also got some from Powergen, a local charity, a local council and other sources I cannot recall.
I have about 20 of them waiting to be used!0 -
Couldnt find any light bulbs on tesco.com !?? But agree about the free ones, Ive had some of those once! ;-)0

Tesco's have them in store, only the 11W (60W) ones are 23p, usual price £1.97.

i got some in asda the other day 100watt and 75watt ... both at 47p!!!!! i couldnt believe i bought 3 as i thought it was an error ... but nope they went thought at 47pAn offical member of the £2 savers club (joined 21/02/06) total savings = £46 :rotfl:0

yep, asda have decent philips ones for 47p and have done so since before christmas0
