Usual headline grabbing stuff but the following taken from the article doesn't sound to bad to me :-
"In a worst-case scenario we estimate the cost of recapitalising the UK banking system to be in the region of £83bn (5.7pc of GDP)," he said. "
So why they insist in talking in terms of trillions I don't know.0 -
And we're not the only country whose banks owe uncounted trillions from their part in the collapsed pyramid scheme. Perhaps what us, America, Germany etc need to be discussing is a debt write-off. We all default on these banks together and run our banking sectors via the banks that each government now owns.0

In that article it says around half a dozen countries are not at risk -or words to that effect. Competely safe. Can I ask those of you in the know, which countries they are ? Which countries are least affected by this ?0
