I am also confused. just tried to do 4 bets htat jesa rose put on , but when i had done 2 at 5 each way, it would let me put on any more bets. any help appreciated

If you bet 5 each way, it costs you 10 points. 5 to win and 5 to be placed. Hope that helps x

Is it just me getting error messages on racecaller atm?

For those of us old folks who remember clickthroughs with nostalgia <sniff> (you young wippersnappers won't remember them - you will just look at us like my kids do when I try to explain how LPs work!)
Now we can't even look at the front page to remember what they looked like as the "what does the clickthrough symbol mean" bit on the pigsback front page has dissapeared - or has it just been gone for a while and my tired old eyes have missed the change?
