Hi All,

I was made br in july 2008, I have had no problems with my br and so pleased i did it as lifes a lot easier now and can only get better.
I have had a paypal account for a few years now and i have never been in trouble or debt with them.
A few months ago i sold a mobile on ebay for 93 pounds and i was to post the fone to india, i recieved payment into my paypal acc and i posted the fone...job sorted (I THAUGHT) anyhow i transferred the funds from my paypal acc into my cooperative acc.
Couple of months later i got an email from paypal saying that the card that had been used to purchase the fone did not have the authorisation of the card holder..? So obviously it been cloned, the credit card company wanted there money back, Paypal re-imbusrt the cc company which left my account with a negative balance. So now i owe paypal and i have lost a fone to someone in india. I did not have sellers protection with paypal..!! (i recommend any who deals with paypal to have this)
Anyhow now paypal have been giving me nasty calls demanding payment, i have told them i dont have the funds which is true any money i do have is for my rent and shopping, i have told them iam currently in BR and finding it hard to get back on my feet after xmas, they are very persistent and said they are taking legal action and another 105 pounds will be added to the debt to cover costs?
I need help, how do i deal with this? should i inform my or ? Can they add costs and take me to court considering iam serving my bankruptcy term? I feel very let down by this and any help and advise would be greatly appreciated

Paypal are law to themselves. I suggest you try the ebay community forums, there is one for paypal and postage. There are lots of experts on there who may be able to help you. Also I would go to citizens advice and make a complaint to your MP. I do know the government are trying to sort paypal out so the more complaints the better.
