Hi
I have just received a letter informing me i am to receive £58 week in working tax credits. I went bankrupt in july so do i need to inform the OR of these payments and will they make me pay towards an IPA.

Hi there, I would have thought that you would have to let the OR know. If the credits takes you over £100 surplus you may get an IPA. I know that they do not include child benefit in their calculations, but not too sure about WTC. Hopefully someone will come along with a more definite answer.Target July Grocery Challenge: £350

Yes Nicky is right it will be counted as income and can go towards an IPA.You must inform the OR within 21 days of recieving it.
