Setting up a business after BR

I was declared BR on the 9th of December and am thinking about becoming a childminder in order to bring in more cash while I am at home with my own LO. Will I be allowed to set up a childminding business before my discharge?

Yes you can be self employed when you are BR.
Good luck with the business. Rather you than me, my 3 drive me up the wall enough

Hi, I went BR on 13/01/2009 and asked my or the same question. She said it is fine to become a childminder as long as I trade under the name I went BR in. This is so if any clients wanted to look it up they could.
Good luck with it all.0
