I haven't looked in detail at this site but please do have a look, my situation was different as I was hit by an insured driver....your situation is different so this company might not be able to help.

    http://www.helphire.co.uk

At the beginning of October 2003 someone hit the side of my car after pulling out at a junction as I was going past (he was looking the other way despite the fact my side of the road was what he had to cross first).

He didn't accept responsibilty, and the damage caused was a massive hole in the bottom of a rear passenger door, meaning a new door was needed. I went to the Vauxhall dealer in Leamington and a lady gave me something for Helphire.

I went through them, only cost me £10 for an insurance policy (if they can't get the cost of repair back from the other side). My car was fixed, took 3 or 4 days, and whilst it was in, I had the use of a hire car.

Cost of damage = approx £1200
Cost of hire car = approx £650

Nearly went to court (all I would have had to do was confirm my account, I wouldn't have lost anything financially), but eventually the other drivers insurance company paid up.

    They saved me heaps.

I am not linked to the company, just suggesting something and hope that board guides and moderators accept that and do not remove this post.

Go to a few body shops with photo`s / car and get quotes not going through insurance, if you know somoene in the trade thewy may be able to pull the bent panels etc for you or look for patern panel providers like Cleveland Panels if you live in the north east, as for paint most good body shops will be able to mix a match.
If it doesnt pay rent sell it.
