Taking 25% Of Pension

Hi this is my first time on this forum,due to financial problems in 2008 my husband decided to drawn down 25% of an old company pension.we contacted the pension co who sent us all the relevant paperwork,of which one was a form for the directors of the company to sign,since september my husband and the pension co have contacted the firm on many occasions and although they are not actually refusing to sign the forms they are not doing it and we simply dont know where to turn next

Why does it require one of the directors to sign it? Is he a trustee on the scheme?

Is it a final salary scheme or a money purchase scheme? Are you able to do income drawdown on that scheme or are you having to transfer it to personal pension that does?

Thanks for replying,that was one of the forms that was sent to us,my husband isn't a trustee,i have no idea if the director is.Its a money purchase scheme and we are transfering to a personal pension
