Went BR yesterday...

So i had my BR appointment yesterday at 10.30am, wasn't nervous until i got there thanks to all the excellent advice and information i had read on here.

So i saw a lovely lady first who went through paperwork and explained what would happen. Did the whole non-religious affirmation and signed it all. She even said that she couldn't understand why the fee was so much for bankruptcy seeing as the people who were going through it had no money. Told me to pay the counter clerk then come back at 2pm to see the judge.
So walked round town, got some lunch met the hubby then came back to see the judge.
He was also very nice, i was very nervous but he made me feel at ease.
Said he was satisfied that i could not repayment the debts and i had thought about my decision. Told me if i did as the OR asked then would be Discharged after 1 year. Then said there is life after bankruptcy and i should look forward.
Then had to go back to original lady to collect paperwork, she gave me my bankruptcy number told me if any creditors phone to just give them BR number and tell them they were to contact the OR, i was not to deal with them.
She also said that the OR would probably phone me yesterday afternoon, if not over the next few days.
As of yet i have had no calls from the OR either at home or on my mobile! I do not have a number for them either. How long should i give them, before conatcting someone and who should i contact?
When will the official notice appear in the paper?

If you dont hear anything from the OR office give the court you petitioned at a call & ask for the bankruptcy section (they should have contact numbers for the OR office dealing with your case) its not unusual though for the office to be busy & it MIGHT take a day or two before you hear anything...did she tell you the OR location? you can do a search here for contact details if you know which area is dealing...http://www.insolvency-service.co.uk/officemap.htm

far as when does the ad go into the paper...mine went in a week or so after..some members have never seen it at all...

We didn't here anything from the or for 2 weeks after the court bit - then it was just a letter telling us when the or would ring for the interview, so not everyone gets a phonecall,depends how busy they are and different or offices seem to have different procedures but if your concerned theres no harm getting in touch with the court!

I haven't a clue when ours went in the paper, we didn't bother to look!
