Big box Daz £2.63 at Sainsburys

I'm annoyed I was too late to get this at both my local stores but have been looking at an alternative deal to get some more washing powder. I asked at the store and they said that product has been discontinued.
If it's of any interest to anyone here, I noticed on mysupermarket that 2.85kg of Persil is on 'special offer' at Sainsburys for £4.41 but at Asda it's £4.00 and that's the normal price.

Does anyone know of any good deals on washing powder at any stores. I normally get a small box of Daz for under £2 but thought I might try and save in the long run by getting a bigger box...

Try Asda, alot of good offers at the mo'. I got a 50 wash Surf for £5.00 and they have the smaller ( 30 ? ) wash at £3.00. Also Lenor big concentrates at £2.00.

My local Tesco have some 750ml Comfort for £1.00 offer at the mo and I got 3 bottles of bold liquid with 20 washes each for £1.99 each, half price as normally £4.00 each. I dont normally buy the liquid washes, normally stick to powder but when theres a bargain, its worth a try!!!

Packs of 32 Tablets = 16 washes in each Pack. Packs are Whites, Biological and Sensitive. Price £3.99 each BOGOF. Also on offer is Fabric conditoner also on BOGOF.

I buy Tesco's Value Biological Powder. £1.64 for 3kg. Not as fragranced as most branded powders, something which I prefer!

Morrisons were doing Daz big box at £4, then 25% extra free last week?

My OH buys the tesco value stuff and mixes it 50:50 with Daz/Persil/Aeriel (whatever is on offer!) She reckons it is great for people with excema too...:money:

I reckon it boosts its cleaning power & with only a spoonful you need less than mixing it with expensive powders, also helps keep the machines innards clean. About £0.55 a bag

I decided to try Sainsburys basic Biological powder this week for 65p. Haven't used it yet, has anyone here tried it?
