New nhs dentist Ballymena

    It has been open for quite a while and they are heavily booked. They are based beside the cinema in Ballymena in the Dalriada building. If you can get the out of hours number in the phone book, they will be able to give you the number to ring to make an appointment for normal working hours.

    What a pleasure it has been going here, never busy, after appointment to reg and check up i got another one the following week to have the work done. Staff are excellent, no late nights is the downside but opens at 8.30am

    Hi, This might be a very silly question but can someone please tell me the differance between a NHS dentist and an ordinary one:confused:

    A non-NHS dentist only does "private" work which is invariably dearer than NHS treatment. We only pay 75% of the cost of NHS approved treatment to an NHS dentist and he/she claims the remaining 25% from the Central Services Agency. Even NHS dentists will often recommend you opt for a "better" filling than the one allowed on the NHS and you pay 100% of the cost for that.
