Still being chased post BR

I went BR early December '08 and although I informed some of my creditors myself, I decided to let the OR inform the rest.
I am still receiving calls from those and now there is a new one calling - Allied Int.
I am guessing that they have bought one of my debts and are chasing...more fool them.
Firstly, should I just leave the OR's office to tidy things up in their own time or inform the creditors myself?
Secondly, should I inform the OR's office about the 'new' people chasing, or will this calm down once the original creditors are properly informed by the OR's office?
How long does it take normally for all the calls to stop? I wanted to start '09 clean and fresh, but it seems the smell will take some time to clear.
Thanks in advance.

The OR can take up to 8 wks to inform creditors..depending on how busy the OR office is.....best thing to do if your worried is ring the OR office & explain your being hassled with old creditors as well as new ones they should hopefully sort it all for youWe all die. Hello and Good Morning,
it is for this reason that I informed all my creditors myself - the day I went BR. I actually wrote and enclosed a photocopy of my BO. I have only had one call in 9 days .... and that was the day after, nothing since.
The guy in the OR office says it takes them about 8 weeks to inform the creditors and bearing in mind there was Xmas and New Year in the middle, possibly even longer.
You could still let them know, even now.
As to the new ones - point them in the direction of the OR. The BO has the address of the OR office on it for them to get in contact.
