Free Childs Activity Pack

Sing songs and rhymes to make chatter matter!

I CAN’s Chatterbox Challenge 2009 supported by Openreach is a sponsored sing-along for children. Join thousands of nurseries, schools, families and children’s groups and perform your favourite weather themed songs and activities to help children across the UK who struggle to communicate.

Your support will make a real difference

I CAN’s Chatterbox Challenge has already raised over £750,000 for our work helping children communicate. This year we’re hoping to raise another £100,000, and thanks to the support of Openreach, every penny raised will go towards helping I CAN reach more children and their families.

It’s so easy to take part. Register today and receive your free activity pack. For 2009 you can choose from a pack specially designed for pre-school nurseries and groups, for primary schools and for families taking part at home.

Couldn't find it listed anywhere on MSE. Think you have to register before end of Jan!:T

Nice find. I do hope that people who respond are actually going to get involved as a charity fund-raising event and not just to apply for another freebie. This would be great to pass onto your child's school though!

Hi TG- totally understand what you are saying but (fingers crossed) this will not happen & we shouldn't under estimate the members here.

Don't think pack would be of any use to those who wouldn't use it properly (and although a very small number who wouldn't use it may apply) most of us on here (however much we love a freebie) would not want to waste resources & understand the importance of saving money personally & publically (which is why we are on here !!!! [as well as for the fun etc., etc.,]) - & hopefully we all understand the importance of finance & resources to others.

This is a great post in the real sense of the word & like you, jumblejack & infamy, really hope that those who will use ir to help others will apply.
  • I emailed both schools my children are at yesterday to tell them about it. i dont think mse'er's would rip a charity off to be honest . we all love a freebie and bargain but i think even tight wods have limits !!
  • Arrived yesterday! Lovely pack in order to organise a sponsored sing song to help charity who help kids who have problems communicating. Aimed at KS1 but doesn't matter what age you are if it helps kids!!
