Just feeling totally numb right now and don't know what to do with myself..
IA - (((HUGS))) for your mum, honestly can't imagine what you are feeling.
But I must say (& don't take offence) that I read your post that you took the cat to mcdonalds after he'd been "de-balled", to sort of cheer him up like :rolleyes:Don't Take Life too Seriously - Nobody gets out alive :rotfl:0 -

It's good to cry sometimes Sar. Why not share some good memories with us?
And sometimes it's the smallest things that evoke the best memories!
...I'll share one of mine!
In was the summer holidays when I was about 9 or 10. Every day seemed to be sunny and me and my friends Julia, jonathan & jason would play out all day, only returning for loo breaks and to eat and drink. We'd got into the habit of walking down to the chippy for a bag of chips each evening.
So I went to my Dad for the change for a bag of chips and he said no, because I'd already had some money that week.
I was gutted as the others all had the money and sloped off to the chippy with me sat on 'the wall' swinging my legs and sulking.
Well a little later they all returned happy and chatting with their chips. I saw my dad come round the corner and I said "Oh for god sake, if he's coming to call me in!!!!!!"
But as he got nearer I noticed he was carrying something, he'd made me some chips himself and made the little newspaper wrapper and greaseproof paper bag so they looked like they were from the chippy.
They were the best chips I'd ever tasted, the others were really jealous because he'd made them specially!
That's one of my absolute favourite childhood memories!
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

You are all mean - I think he's sexy(he is!)
And not that tidgy, although that photo doesn't really do it justice.
He treated me very badly, I wont ever let him do that again - but I have happy memories, being with him was lovely (not to mention the best...well, you know....of my life), it was just a case of horrendously bad timing, and he is still very messed up from his marriage break-up, otherwise I think the relationship would have gone somewhere.
The photo isn't how he generally....um....behaves btw. But it was the funniest and most embarrassing one I had! :rotfl:
Fair enough Snaggs...Not trying to be mean..just thinking you deserve far better.:D

are you trying to big him up?:DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
