Hi all, hope someone can help.
Looking to move house and increase mortgage size which is going to be outside the main lenders parameters, most been offered £95,000 and thats with current lender. Will probably need to go through a broker but there are a few horror stories out there about fees they charge. Does anyone know of a mortgage broker they can recommend??
Im not looking to go too much outside parameters.
House to purchase: £163,000
Deposit: £53,000
Need to finance £110,000
Joint wage - £29,000
Debts - car @ £253 month
visa @ £60 mth
Many thanks in advance.

It is really dependant upon the rates you are currently paying for the car / visa, and how the income is made up.
If you need help from a broker I would suggest finding a local firm, recommended to you by friends / family. Talk to people you know, it is more than likely that someone will have a good broker they have used.
As for the fees charged. Ask the broker for his 'Initial Disclosure Document' which will outline in advance any fees / charges levied by the firm. If they are charging you a fee ask them for a formal 'Fee Agreement' and whether they will return the lender comission to you at completion.
Hope this helps
