Have to write a critique of TV shows for job application... advice please!

As in the title, I have to write a 500 critique of the best and worst TV shows of the past year for a job at Tiger Aspect. I was wondering whether you thought I should critique one of their programmes or not.

They made Crooked House for BBC4, which aired just before Christmas and thought it was fantastic. Shall I critique it or not?

I'm also critiquing Demons.

depends if its going to sound sycophantic :-)

why not have a browse at a tv forum like digital spy so critique can include some viewer opinion? and get ratings also. research may or may not be as useful as opinion..?

I know roughly the things I need to critique, I'm just in 2 minds about critiquing their show! lol.

I may critique Ashes to Ashes if not Crooked House.

well, critique to me implies good and bad - so you need something you can give a balanced view on. Can you expand on 'fantastic'?

Well I done a media degree, so lets hope so! lol.
