Loved (hated) the bit near the end when Kirsty said ''oh dear, thats twice their dreams have been shattered because they cannot get the mortgage they need.''

Nothing to do with how extortionate house prices are, no?
  • that couple bugged me a lot... made me gratelful that i am contented with what i have got!!!! (though i would love a holiday home somewhere hot, thats moved higher up my wishlist again!)

i wish kirsty had started on them with that apple tree! lol

They were idiots. One of the houses they were looking at was down my road! (we live in a bigger house than the one they looked at, on the bit of road with the ceiling price for the road on it. But we do not care because we will not sell. Ever. If I have anything to do with it lol). The houses they were turning down were perfectly good, and affordable, then she goes and wants to buy one they couldn't afford that didn't meet what they wanted it for anyway. They should count themselves lucky they are in the market to buy in that area as I am looking for somewhere to move to in that area and will never ever be able to afford to buy a house like that unless I meet a very rich man.
