i got a bag from lush in cardiff centre today, they only had the £10 ones left (at 10.30 am!) unfortunately mine contained 90% alcohol items, i am muslim so no good to me
, wish the lady in the shop was more pleasant - i could have looked in the bag before buying rather than feeling intimidated, also i am sure they know whats in the bag - i wear a headscarf - obviously a muslim and i assume (maybe wrongly) that most people know muslims do not have alcohol.
oh well, my loss and my neighbours gain lol
I think the whole idea of grab bags is the lucky dip, its Lush's way of clearing old stock. I guess if people chose items Lush could still be left with lots of Christmas Cake soap. Which items did you get in the bag. Did you ask an assistant which items would be most suitable for you or check out the Lush Times, they are usually very informative regarding their products.
Bet you now have a happy neighbour0 -

Bags were within a few pence except daughters and she's a bit miffed now, (she's 9 and paid with her pocket money) but it cost me £14 in rail fares so cant go back to complain, unless of course I have added it up wrong which is possible.
Well done you for finding a shop with some left today, do you know if the Cambridge shop is open tomorrow? It would be about 50 miles each way for me but I would do the trip if they had some.
Thanks0 -

Hi as far as I know they should be, they are situated in the Grand Arcade right at the back where it joins onto the Lion yard shopping centre. If you dont know Cambridge its notoriusly expensive for car parking so park and ride is probably best. Phone ahead might be an idea they might reserve some as shop was quiet when we went in this morning. Sorry cant tell you tel number as I have 2 Cam numbers on my mobile and one was my aunties!! but if you go onto their website at the bottom there is a store locator with numbers.Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
No, not Bob, that's grener and smells like cola bottles (well it does to me anyway :rotfl:)0 -
