Lush grabbit bags starts on 26th

I really dont think we can reserve, I maybe able to get over after work Tues or Weds but out for a meal from work Mon so cant go then:rolleyes:

Although I know that Lush had problems last year with these grab bags online, I am a bit miffed about them only being available in stores this year. We dont have a Lush shop near us, nearest one is 45 miles away. Myself, both my married daughters, grandaughters plus my daughter in law use Lush all the time. We stock up when one of us is near a store and also order online. It just seems grossly unfair that we use it all the time and cant take advantage of these special offers but others who dont usually buy it will get these offers just because they are lucky enough to live in or near a town which has a Lush shop.

If so many of you use it, why not make a special trip there, and stock up?

It's an instore promotion. Lots of companies do it. It's just unlucky for you.

They have good reasons. They sold out of everything online during the NBTB so for them to do grab bags online they would need stores to send back stock to MO or else make more stock but since its being given away cheap then its obviously not in their best interest.

As for reserving bags. Quite a few people on the lush forum have been successful in doing this and one person even got two bags reserved until next saturday. So it is possible but obviously depends on the individual stores just like some stores decided to start today others monday.

Because my family all work and I foster a special needs child and dont drive.

Yes I agree, it is unlucky for us, maybe thats why I feel a bit miffed about it.
I will try phoning our nearest shop late Friday and see if its worth a trip through on Saturday but am not holding my breath.

Maybe give your local a call and explain the situation.

This is from Lush forum. I dont know which store it applies to though.

"Yay! I have been able to reserve 2 grab bags for next Saturday. The staff said it was fine as most of their regulars work Mon to Fri so they were happy to make sure we get some! Plus they should have velentines stuff next week"

Does anyone know it the bags are limited per person and did you have to spend to qualify to purchase a bag, what other kind of goodies were in the bags .. thanks.

I was told there is no limit on the bags - if you spend say £30 they said Its either 2 x the bags worth £50 or 1 of each - 3 sizes of bags.

S.A expects some to spend lots and get lots of bags as its such a great offer.

They all seemed to have the Christmas gift boxes in the ones up to value of say £20. I saw 3 boxes in the large £50 value bag along with several soaps, bath bombs and a bath jelly.

The stock is the Christmas stuff - still in date but they cant sell it anymore.

I might be able to go after work Tues eve but only want one bag as Id never use all the items - Ive got boxes I had for christmas and 3 drawers or more full of products I need to use:o :rolleyes: and the xmas boxes will be out of date by next xmas.

I think Il tidy out the 'smellies and make up' drawers later on see what I really need!

Good plan alisont! I've also got a cupboard full of other products that need using up. I think it's easy to get carried away -- I'm just going to buy one bag -
